Limb protector: The limb protector is a device used after surgery to protect the limb from injury, as well as to aid healing by providing extra compression. In below knee amputation applications, this is also used to help prevent knee flexion contractures by keeping the knee straight. By preventing contractures and keeping a full range of motion, this speeds up the rehabilitation process.

Post-operative Fittings: We also provive an Immediate Post-Operative Prosthesis (IPOP). This prosthesis encourages more rapid healing and overall rehabilitation. This prosthesis is fit immediately following the surgery, while in the operating room. These can be custom fit or off-the-shelf. If you know about your surgery ahead of time, you can come to our office one to two weeks before the scheduled surgery and we will cast you; we will use this cast to create a custom IPOP that will be fit following surgery.

Cosmetic Resoration: Cosmetic restoration of a digit, hand or foot are available in silicone or PVC materials.

Cosmetic protective covers: A natural appearance is achieved by first applying and shaping a foam cover to match the opposite side. Measurements are taken to match the other leg exactly. Over the foam cover either nylons and socks can be worn, or a protective outer skin covering can be added. This can be a roll-on removable skin or a spray-on permanent skin. Skin color can be matched closely to the patient.

Microprocessor Knees - C-Leg, Rheo: The microprocessor knees currently on the market monitor floor reaction forces using sensors in the ankle. These knees provide the most stability of any prosthetic knee joint currently on the market.

Custom Laminations: Your final socket can be custom-finished in any color or with any fabric with no additional cost. We have many pigments and several fabrics available for your selection, or you can provide your own fabrics, whether a cut of fabric or a design from a t-shirt. If you have a t-shirt design you would like to use, please leave the entire t-shirt intact for the best lamination; if you have already cut the shirt, however, we can still laminate with the design.

Myoelectric Arm Prosthesis: The myoelectric arm is proportionally controlled with electrodes within the socket to control the prosthetic hand and wrist as needed.

Vacuum Socket Technology: We have fit many both above and below knee patients with vaccum socket technology. In this system, pins and rotational issues are eliminated; additionally, daily volume fluctuations are greatly reduced or eliminated.
